I didn’t sleep very well and because it was a new room I woke at six. So I showered and went across the road to the bakery for breakfast and to use their wifi to upload yesterday’s blog.
I got picked up at ten and taken back to my regular Guest House. It is ten minutes walk away from the “busy” part of town so it’s nice and quiet at night and I wake up to a view like the one from yesterday from my bedroom window, a little different to this view from the door of the Guest House I stayed in last night, yes that's barbed wire and glass on the wall - but at least there's a palm tree.
But that’s the difference between a five dollar room and a twelve dollar room!
Once I settled in I went over to Greg’s Guest House and stirred him up. It’s lunchtime so we went to the Aussie bar for (imported – real) bangers and mash.
They built a new little rock wharf at the boat launch area since I was here last.
The last couple of days have been unseasonably overcast and cool so neither of us felt like doing anything today. I decided to go for a massage and back to my room for a brief email catch up by which time Greg knocked on my door bored.
It was about three and the sun was just starting to emerge so we went down to a bar to watch the sunset.
Getting ready to launch the balloon.
See I'm not the only freak who likes a good sunset photo.
We decided since we had Aussie for lunch we went to the Irish pub for dinner, I had a pasty and it was good! I am really tired by now and Greg is mumbling about when he is going to leave so we part ways and I head for the big soft bed back in my regular Guest House room tonight, sleep awaits.
