The Last Day in the Islands.

Woke early and went downstairs for breakfast in the sun for my last day and finished my book “Life of Pi”.
Went for a walk up to Cedric’s bungalow and had a coffee and a swim with him, the river has become lower in the last week and these sandbars are starting to appear.
There is endless amounts of work for the locals building more bungalows.
I found out that the water snakes have very small mouths so the most they could do is bite your ear or nostril but I also found out that the island has pythons, vipers and cobras.
Went back into the main street to Rouges and watched “Thor” until the DVD stopped because it was cracked so then watched “Watchmen”, a perfectly relaxed final afternoon.
Playful puppy at Rouges.
Went back to my room for some heat relief then headed up the sunset side for a drink or two, which of course means the last sunset photos from here.
There is a lot of "profound" scribing on the walls of this bar, the one on the wooden pole says "If you are not living life on the edge you are taking up too much space"

Then we went to Streetview for one last schnitzel and to say farewell to Darren and stumbled home after a few beers.
