Another Day in Paradise

My new room is great, much cleaner then the old one however there is a rooster in the backyard behind my toilet and he likes to wake me up round four, then I hear the Buddhist call to prayer drums. So today in walked the one minute downstairs and across the road to sit on the edge of the river for a few cigarettes then went back to bed.
The view of the river one minutes walk from my bed.
If you look closley at the sign in the window apparently Laung Prabang comptuer shop has no internet?
I found this drawing on the ground in the teaching temple, curious?
Went for my usual breakfast then headed up to the temple lookout and ran into Keota. We chatted for a while then went down to the temple classrooms where morning lessons had just finished and I ran into Sai from last week. Again we chatted for a while until they had to rush off to eat before midday while I went to an Indian restaurant for lunch.

After lunch I went back to my room with a few supplies for my upcoming three day trek to try and get some rest but couldn’t so after tossing and turning for half an hour I watched a movie then went for a massage.
After the massage as promised, I went to the river bar and read my book and watched the sunset especially today for Ingrid who, if she got through Bangkok has just arrived home to Austria where it will be snowing and had a Beer Lao for her.
After a while Greg and Peng joined me but I needed to go to my room for a shower before dinner and we agreed to meet at the night market food stalls. As I finished my shower it would not shut off so I spent the next half an hour with staff coming and going to try and fix it. In the end we just kinked it off and it will be repaired in the morning.

I met Greg, Peng and Emanuala and as we sat down I started talking to a beautiful Dutch girl called Manon who joined us for dinner. After dinner I took her for a walk to show her where to climb up to Phu Si temple and spent some nice time chatting bout life, she’s also a Gemini, my favourite kind though totally incompatible but she has a boyfriend anyway.
We walked back to Jomo coffee house and finished the night with Greg, Peng and Emanualla, then all said goodnight and went our separate ways.
