My Last Day in Laung Prabang - This Time

I woke at five excited for my last day in Laung Prabang. I was going to have breakfast with Manon but her room is quiet so I leave her a note directing her to the café. The wifi has been down in the hotel for the last day so I take my laptop to update the blog with the very good wifi at the cafe. I hate looking like one of those “trendy” types with a laptop in a café but it must be done.

Not long after I arrive Manon turns up and we enjoy breakfast together. After this we return the laptop to the hotel and check to see if we can find Greg, he is three hotels along but not in. Manon wants to go to one of  the villages with him today to deliver the photos he took there the other day on the English teaching tour with the German girls.

We wander up the street and meet Greg, he is leaving at midday. This leaves Manon and I time to return her hired push bike and for me to finalise payment for my tour tomorrow.
And some time for me with "O beautiful one"

Then I take her up the hill to meet the novice monks. She enjoys a couple of hours chatting with them, she could not chat with them without my presence.
We say our farewells to them and head down to the main street for pizza then I leave her with Greg and go to my room for rest.

I go for and hour and a half massage just make sure all my muscles are ready for the bike tomorrow and miss the sunset but I've seen plenty but it is was spectacular for Manon as I had promised her.

Peng went home to her village today so Greg, Manon and I go for dinner then walking it off find a bar called Utopia. We had a few Absithnes as i promised myself i wouldn't and staggered home for some sleep.
