I was sleeping ok until the guy in the next room brought a hooker back about midnight, banging the door then laughing and yelling...................I turned my TV on.
Today I went to see Buddha but even he couldn't help me. I went to a travel agent but there are no flights to Pakse so I've booked myself a double berth on the overnight sleeper bus - seven at night to seven in the morning - I hope my back holds up ok. From there it is a three hour mini bus ride to the main part of the Four Thousand Islands. I am looking forward to some time there although I'm not really sure what is there. Simon from Saigon told me of an very isolated part of one of the islands, it kind of feels a bit like when Leonardo got the map of "The Beach"
